I was a proud participant at the April lineup for the Clash series, organized by the persona that is James Amos. I opened with a solo set, accompanied for the first time by the lovely Samantha Otten, who did her light-bringin’, ball-swingin’ poi dance. Next up was Curse of Cassandra, a really fun electronic band from Dayton, Ohio – fascinating and friendly folk, whom I hope to keep as personal friends! My favorite local band, TV Movie, performed with a slightly new collection of players. Bassist Tim Ball is back in the mix, along with a live drummer, Matt Kempf. Gelatinous Cube closed the night with their “revolving door” members. A three-piece on this night, and they played my request! To add to the luck, I had the good fortune of collecting some documentation from the evening. Generous contributors: Video and photos from Keegan O’Reiley (see YouTube footage here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BsYPdkx47jE&feature=youtu.be) photos from Jacob Richter and from Orie Rush, and much thanks to James Amos for all his effort in organizing these great shows!
